Dr. Cruchaga’s Research is focused on genetic and multi-omic approaches to identify novel variants, genes and pathways implicated in neurodegeneration, with the goal of understanding the biology of neurodegenerative diseases.

Neurology, University of New Mexico Hospitals

The Tarawneh Biomarker Discovery Laboratory is dedicated to the identification of novel fluid biomarkers for neurological disorders with a focus on AD (Alzheimer s Disease) and other neurodegenerative disorders.
