Dr. Tarif Awad
VP of Scientific Affairs | Olink Proteomics

Dr Tarif Awad is Vice President for Scientific Affairs at Olink Proteomics. He leads a team of scientists responsible for collaborations and strategic partnerships aimed at advancing the use of proteomics studies in basic research and pharmaceutical development. DDrAwad spent much of his career helping expand the utility and global availability of various genomics platforms and applications, from basic and translational research to clinical diagnostics. Before joining Olink, He served in scientific and strategic roles for biotech tool providers, including Affymetrix, Sequenom, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Dr Awad is a cell and molecular biologist with a PhD from the University of Washington in Seattle and postdoctoral training from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. He lives in San Francisco, California.
