Mid- Atlantic Directors and Staff of Scientific Cores​ (MAD SSCi)

The MAD SSCi chapter is set to host meetings for discussions on core management and technologies, fostering networking and training opportunities for core staff in the biomolecular field. Targeting individuals involved in core and research lab administration within the Baltimore, Washington DC, Frederick MD, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina regions, the chapter will emphasize animal-related cores and cover diverse topics such as AI, collaboration with government and Pharma, and leadership training under the theme “Leading with C.A.R.E. Principles.” The conference will conclude with a professional skills development workshop.​ The intended community of interest to the MAD SSCi chapter includes people involved in administration and/or operation of core and research laboratory facilities involved in biomolecular technologies primarily from the scientific research centers of the Universities and Federal Government Agencies located near Baltimore, Washington DC, Frederick MD, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina, and surrounding areas.
