Getting Started
Learn how to upload a list of your genes of interest into Olink Insight, to convert and save to a Uniprot protein list which can be saved under your account. Alternatively, you can search for proteins of interest based on disease associations or Gene Ontology terms to generate lists. All lists can then be used to explore a range of useful functions within the app.
Study Design
See the tools available to help you optimally design your protein biomarker study. Use your lists of proteins of interest to identify the best Olink panel for your needs, including the identification of functionally-related alternative proteins for targets not currently included in the Olink portfolio. In addition, our study size calculator will provide guidance on the number of samples needed to provide sufficient statistical power for your project.

Leverage the UK Biobank Dataset
The 1st phase of the UK Biobank Pharma Proteomics Project (UKB-PPP) used Olink Explore 3072 to measure over 3,000 proteins in over 54,000 individuals in one of the world’s largest and best-characterized biobanks. Explore this dataset to see the normal variance ranges of proteins in a large, healthy population and to explore disease associations and genetic variants that regulate protein levels.
